    Hi,

I’m having an issue with a default Joomla 3.1.1 plugin. It is the plug in used on the front end to “inset image” into an article.

I have tried setting the template back to proto and the plugin now functions properly, so i have isolated it to being with T3.

    Description of the problem:

When editing/creating and article from the front end, the button appears, I can click on it, it opens the lightbox and displays the form. The problem is you can’t actually select any objects in the browser (folders or images). Trying to manually upload an image also fails, it just returns back to the lightbox with no noticeable changes.

The template im basing off of is T3 Blank 1.2.4 on T3 Framework 1.2.5, using Joomla 3.1.1

I have already disable magic quotes. 🙂

Thanks for the help. I can provide more info if needed.

    Hi namachieli,

Could you tell me the name of that 3rd party plugin? If it’s free, you can send me link so that I can try to download and check it in my side 🙂

Its the default included image upload plugin bundled with Joomla 3.1.1.

it creates a button when creating/editing an article to include a picture in the article.

I have the exact same problem after updating a joomla installation which was a ja_fixel quickstart package to the latest joomla version. No I can no longer used the image button to upload images, since the litebox stays white during the upload and using JCE editor I cannot use the image manager since the image upload gets stuck at 100% without storing the uploaded image on the server.

Oddly enough, both upload variants swork in the admin backend.
