    Hi,

I have stumbled upon Joomlart.com and have found the templates to be quite nice! Good job.

I am wondering about the T3 Framework.

    Am I understanding this correctly:

T3 is a framework which sits on top the default Joomla install.
It enables some features that Joomla does not offer out of the box (e.g. mobile site)?
Does it make sense to say T3 is simply a collection of extension?

    Other questions:
    – With the T3 framework, can I still install regular extensions from the Joomla extension library?
    – With the developer account can I remove all branding and mention of T3, JA etc. from the back-end?

    Thanks.

    Hello shnozolla ,

To T3 Framework and Joomla Extensions

T3 is only a framework for joomla templates. It has nothing to do with other extensions and the features joomla does not provide. But T3 provides features that Joomla templates do not have. The user can install any extensions for joomla whne using T3 templates. If he has a developer membership a step by step guide is provided to remove the JA copyrights from the template but the membership does not allow anyone to remove JA copyrights from the php and css etc files.

Doesnt template all about html? How do differentiate the copyrights between the template and its html?

    Hello shnozolla ,

In general a template is like a template in the real world. It is a pattern from which other pages can be created.

Some templates are just web pages with minimal or perhaps sample content that are designed to be copied and edited, so that all of the pages made from the template look the same.

To change the template that is used to build pages on the site. These are sometimes called skins, or styles, or themes, or other names, rather than templates.

In general it is better to separate design from content.Templates provide additional standardization controls, depending on the type you use.

HTML to create tables, font designs, colors, and any other encoding or object type you could place in template.
