Hi! i have a huge issue/bug to report about T3 framework when you’re saving the template configuration but i’m not sure where i supposed post (can’t create new topics). So here will go! If you have a index.html on your tree and if you try to access your site after a clean install (for exemple) and try to edit some options on template don’t necessary you need to change the layout too (because you can’t). So after save your template will broke some positions of modules. The issue is i don’t know where is the calling but because this index.html the grid system of the framework won’t will render or shows and after saving without change anyting in the layout the frontend will be miss configured somehow. I think the values of positions are storage on sql so the problem isn’t in template code but only in layout grid system i believe after edited and saved.

June 27, 2016 at 3:40 am #944403Hi
Its not the bug , when u have a custom index.html file in the root , layout file does not load due to the front end has a custom html file .
beside saving issue in the template positions in the layout , could u tell me with steps what kind of issue you are facing when u are trying to change the module position in the template options > Layout Tab ,
So i can replicate the same and check it at my end .June 27, 2016 at 5:06 am #944435Hi! Yes i know just open the URL with index.php in my case. To answer your question I had a index.html displaying only an image and try to change some options of the template in the layout tab I did not change anything because it appeared a broken image the same as was in index.html so I thought was a bug.
Believe it or not the template positions that have more than one column they were reset to default even if the .ini file layout footer and mainbody have properly configured for example. Because of this problem the number of columns have changed and to reconfigure had to rename the index of the root to be able to reconfigure the layout positions again. Using other templates with layout customization as the helix 3 framework have never had this problem even using an index out instead of offline website.Pankaj Sharma ModeratorPankaj Sharma

June 27, 2016 at 5:27 am #944440Hi
In order to see the layout you need to remove the index.html file .
For the issue : Believe it or not the template positions that have more than one column they were reset to default even if the .ini file layout footer and mainbody have properly configured for example.Kindly send your site super user details via Private reply and give me steps to replicate this issue on site .
Without proper details its very hard to assume the problem.June 27, 2016 at 1:56 pm #944578Well i’m sending to you some pics of whats happening to my site joomla 3.5.1 and T3 2.5.5 (updated to latest version). I already solved the issue by renaming the custom index.html on root of my site. If you do an installation of a template and create an index.html file that has only one image being called in the body and so is edit the template settings will see that the same happens in the attached images. Once you see the broken icon halter between tabs position and responsive, then save & close the template. When you open the home page will see that unconfigure some positions / columns of your site. So this was a bug I found repeating the same procedure in 2 different templates with different versions even without updating the joomla or plugin T3.

July 2, 2016 at 10:32 pm #946311Sorry for the delay in responding I was traveling. I understand your point of view Pankaj if the framework works, it’s not a bug, but from my point of view is a problem because it leads people astray. Like I a lot of people uses a custom index instead of the joomla offline page and about the images not shows the place with the columns sorry. I think it should inform then you can not use another index to not experience the same problem I had, for example, T2 did not happen so. It may not be a bug, but can be a little flaw, thank you!
