When watching this Joomlart Tutorial at 4:15 min I see sort of popup come’s down. Showing the message: The user-layout layout was succesfully created!
I don’t get this message when saving something.
Because it does work on other hostings, and also on a different domain on the same hosting.
I thought this problem is not related to Joomlart, So i contacted my hosting.
They go compare the two domains (not done yet). They came up with something, and asked me to contact joomlart to look-in to it.

The framework does ignore one of my settings within joomla, that’s why it goes wrong:

    var $tmp_path = '/customers/picoba.nl/picoba.nl/httpd.www/tmp';

The framework suppose to write to this location (full pad is important) but try to write to ‘/tmp’ what isn’t allowed.

is there any fix for this?

Yes, I think that its a issue relating permisison on creating, writing file and folder. Please follow to this guide http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/solution-for-the-error-in-saving-template-configuration/

and then check this issue again

    Thanks

Thanks for the help, i did follow the info provided in the link.
    The first way:
    params.ini (777) changed to params.ini(755)
/templates/ja_t3_blank/core (777) and all files and folders within this pad (777)
    This did not work.

    Second attempt:
Fill in my ftp details in: site > global configuration > server
When i enable FTP i get this line:

Warning: is_writable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/customers/picoba.nl/picoba.nl:/var/www/diagnostics:/usr/share/php) in /customers/picoba.nl/picoba.nl/httpd.www/libraries/joomla/filesystem/path.php on line 200
try’d with host: 127.0.0.1 and with the host provided by my host (ftp.)
So i think this is conected with my first post:

<blockquote>The framework does ignore one of my settings within joomla, that’s why it goes wrong:
