Dear developers and supporters,

I am currently doing a website with Purity III and T3Blank BS 3 trying both to see which fits most of my needs. But now when I have the website in Developer mode and change settings in .less files then after 10 to 30 minutes it suddenly resets itself.

Logo is gone goes back to original
All settings are reverted back to normal.
Luckily when I reset all these things and click developer mode on again the .less files are not reset. But the megamenu is reset and this is very irritating because it is a lot of work.

I suppose I don’t have to rebuild after every change.

Please let me know what this could be. PS: I am on a localhost.

You should be making modifications in a custom.css file – not the less files.

Thank you for your message. A bit of confusing when you look at the video’s because there they are explicitly telling that you should do the changes in less. Which in my opinion is still the right way because as your link says it loads the custom.css file as last file. So it is loading 1 file to many in my opinion because the same result can be achieved through coding with less and then compiling.

I just found out that the problem I am having is something a lot of others are facing as well. The most recent topic with the exact problem as I am having is the following url: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/t3-tempalte-loses-mega-menu-and-other-settings-when-adding-or-changing-a-menu-item/

When I open a menu item and add a picture to it through the Joomla Menu Manager then it resets the entire template.
When I add a new menu item then it is a 50/50 change that you need to redo all changes.

How to reproduce. Install a fresh Joomla install(not your quickstart), Then install your framework and the 2 blank templates. Then install purity III create a few menu items and use all the symbols you want. Then do the megamenu and then if that is all working as I thing it would. Then start making changes to the menu eventually you have to get the same problem we get and that is that your site is completely reset.

Dear Saguaros, Thank you for your message. There is no problem with .less files or the way that I am changing them. To know which files just look at the original videos from Joomlart those are the files that I am changing. Also there might be some files that are not covered in the videos but those are done on the same way. So again no problem with this.
