T3 only designed for JA templates .
JA does not provide any support for third party templates and extension . 🙂

Templates from yootheme.com work on its own framework WARP (currently version 7.2), so they obviously don’t need any other frameworks, like our T3.

Having said that, there does indeed exist another very popular template club JoomlaBamboo.com, which since January 2013 creates its templates like us based on our T3 framework.

Could you please elaborate on what exactly you meant by T3 “working with other theme”? T3 framework per se is just a system plug-in and as such its installation, as installation of any other Joomla extension, along with any other, non-JoomlArt template, won’t effect your system.
