Hi,

As a new member I have downloaded JA_Barite, JA_Teline and JA_Corona for testing

Part of the attraction was “tableless design”

However, when I look at the code there are tables

So my question is “What is tableless design?”

The templates is tabeless, but joomla core do output in tables

I guess if I’m looking for a completely tableless CMS then I either need to look at another system such as Drupal 6 or possibly purchase one?

By the way, my initial impression of JA_Teline is very favourable…

With Joomla 1.5, you could override the template of all extensions to make the output pure tableless. However, I believe that core joomla will be upgrade to generate tableless output.
