I guess I am a little confused . . . you mentioned you had a good deal of custom content already entered into your Teline IV based previous install, yet you re-installed the template and there is no custom content within it (yet).

So I have to ask again, is there any reason why you cannot utilize the quickstart+sample data installation process to start from – seeing as though it does not appear that you have any custom content to worry about wiping out?

What do you mean by custom content? I thought you meant articles and menu’s of which I have many, it’s just that they are now showing.

The problem at the minute lies within the menu parameters plugin, which is why the menu has disappeared. It was showing as having missing files and an error occured, so I uninstalled it on the database.I have tried to reinstall the menu parameters plugin but can’t find it anywhere and even downloaded the template again and still cannot find it.

It is giving me a large headache now. I wish I hadn’t messed about with it and was just happy without the tabs.
