    OK, I can get the ?tab=2 to work on the home page by just typing it in. But if I use a longer link on a subpage where it’s in a long string like /index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=japosts&layout=selectplan&tab=2&Itemid=97 then it doesn’t seem to work.

    I’m putting a title tag in the li. Everything else is rendering correctly and I can go from tab to tab just fine manually.

    What is JA Tabs looking for in the HTML to know the tab number? Is it just the title=”blah” in the li tag?
    <blockquote>
    <div class=”ja-tabs-title-top” style=”height:30px;”>
    <ul class=”ja-tabs-title”>
    <li title=”Buy Featured Jobs” class=”first active ja-ico-0″><h3><span>Buy Featured Jobs</span></h3></li>
    <li title=”Buy Resume Subscription” class=”ja-ico-1″><h3><span>Buy Resume Subscription</span></h3></li>
    <li title=”Buy Featured Employer” class=”last ja-ico-2″><h3><span>Buy Featured Employer</span></h3></li>
    </ul>
    </div>

    Still can’t get this to work. I’m attaching the whole .php file that is used to generate the tabs. It’s included as part of JA Job Board. The whole things works well except for the ?tab=2 part.

    Any ideas? 🙂

    When you supply variables via the address bar only the first one uses ? and after that use an & to separate each additional variable…

    So if there are no other variables;
    /index.php?tab=1
    If there are;
    /index.php?option=com_jajobboard&view=japosts&layou t=selectplan&tab=2&Itemid=97&tab=2

    Also looks like you need some SEO love with links like that…
