I reuploaded the teline III template to match with the change log but now when i choose text for the website logo and slogan all i get is blank space that says sites slogan. what do you think could be the problem?

Check if layoutsblocksheader.php has these lines (from line no.11)

Ok yeah the line was there. i replaced it with what you showed me but yet there is still no change
