If you look at a custom made website http://www.autoservice-svl.nl I made without Uber/T3/ACM, there you see a true and real sticky footer technique. If you look at the ACM module, you have a sticky footer on or off option. Putting this "on" only enables the position:fixed and that is not what sticky footer is.

Here you can see the technique http://ryanfait.com/sticky-footer/

    Hi

I don’t see the difference on this site: http://www.autoservice-svl.nl/ – I mean the footer is not sticky also.

Could you post your site’s URL here which uses our template and tell me how you want to achieve?

Yes it does, check this page. http://www.autoservice-svl.nl/mercedes-specialist

there you see, if you got a uhd screen, that the footer sticks to the bottom. When you drag your browser upwards so it becomes less height, you notice that it does not stay fixed. It because of the technique called sticky footer. But what happens inside the template is not sticky footer technique. Thats just fixed.

The problem with just fixed is > You need to add the height of the footer in px to the margin-bottom of your wrapper. If you do this the way UBER is build while using full-screen option in the ACM hero module, you get a scrollbar since the hero module does not take into account to subtract the fixed footer height from the fullscreen script. With the true sticky footer technique you do not need to do that because IF the pagecontent is longer then the browser height, if reacts as relative behaviour.

http://www.encoma.nl Here you see an example of a site buold with uber that has extra margin-bottom because of the fixed footer. Implementing the sticky footer technique whould still have a footer to the bottom but it still reacts relative with more content then the height of the browser.

    So is it solved now?

Just wanted to point this out as help from my side to improve the development experience of people that work with this template.

It is just a note to development of uber that the sticky footer technique like I described is maybe a better way since it doesn’t bring problems to modules that are shown as last and are partially hidden behind the footer.
