I like the uncluttered appearance and fast loading of Teline II over III and IV, so I’m revamping my news site using II. I’m just wondering if it will ever be possible to use JA Newspro with Teline II – I love the linear option.

Try installing it for teline II and let me know of the issues that might arise, i shall try to help you with them.

My initial attempt seems to be working. I first disabled JA News, enabled JA NewsPro and assigned it to the janews position. The correct sections and categories appear. Full articles display. I guess the next step would be to assign some CSS so that the simple LI statements are styled for prettier tabs. (“More…” appears in the tab area when you select a sub-tab.)

I’m having a problem with NewsPro refreshing the articles. I deleted the demo articles and images, but NewsPro keeps showing them, instead of the new articles. Of course, selecting any of the links gets you a 404. How do I clear NewsPro’s memory?

I fixed the memory issue by answering “yes” to the question about “group by subcategory.” (The default is ‘no’)

I’ve also enabled the t3-2 plugin without any ill effects.
