We seem to have had some hack attempts on our site. we are using joomla 1.5.3 however i am worried what effect an upgrade to Joomla 1.5.6. would have upon the teline II template if any at all…we massively tweaked the template so it had grey sudes etc and that the blue bar finished equally across the page and we dont want to lose this work so we are a little concerned….ways of upgrading which we are obviously going to have to do without ruining the template very much appreciated…..

I was in the same shoes, and now everything works fine on 1.5.6.
Set up a test site (e.g. localhost) to upgrade to 1.5.6.
Test all your functions, especially that you have modified.
If everything is OK, update your server.
For me all the graphical elements of the layout worked well, only Ja-News modul needed to modify a little.

hiya,

what did you need to modify in JA news? At least it looks like the template will work ok then! that took us ages to re-configure and obviously the site is live now as well.
