Teline II RSS 2.0 Feed Time Out

Oops!

The feed you requested has timed out! Please check back later.

…RSS 2.0 Feed to yahoo desktop timeout,

This has been an ongoing problem for the past few months. Recently enabled mysql_cache on our private server and this we hoped would resolve the issue amongst other things.

I can recreate the problem by refreshing my yahoo desktop that reads the feed. Note: We see this problem from a colombian IP so were not sure that the same problem in the eu/eeuu..sever in the netherlands… it’s a feedburner feed…

Site link here. RSS 2.0 feed via ff, rss logo in url box.

Our Teline II to Teline III beta system exhibits the same time out.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

    Hi you

I have checked your website: http://www.colombiareports.com/index.php?format=feed&type=rss

    It is working fine

    Did you fix?

It’s fixed if one considers running joomla cache ‘on’ via the admin/system setting. This has the disadvantage that the custs view counts are not updated, which were being used or ad campaign impressions.

This is a joomla problem, not a telin II problem. Our customer is also running on an older dedicated server with 2gig of storage…I enabled mysql query_cache….but mysql will file and flush the table with every rows view update…

…to get a half way decent performing virtual file acess one needs bloody mysql enterprise silver…at 3k us a year…I miss the mainframe world….vfa…has been around for thirty years…

also learning…forget free plug-in’s…go commerical folks!…i.e. with folks like JoomlArt….you get what you pay for….

    cheers from Medellin, Colomibia…
