April 3, 2010 at 4:40 pm #150101I indicated some times ago that teline III does not really support Arabic writing…
Please see the link:
http://www.tiqana.info/141/index.phpWhen I replace “Feature news” for example with an Arabic Text, this one will appear for a second then it will disapear… This is the same situation in many similar titles…
By the way, as I indicated in a thread (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/rtl-problem-2/), it is not clear how to choose the RTL feature of this template…
Thanking you in advance…

April 5, 2010 at 7:32 am #339107Dear aratype!
The RTL Language is automatict detected and displayed this mode follow the default language. so that you should install a language package which support the Arabic Language
GOod luck

April 5, 2010 at 7:49 am #339109I put “Arabic-DZ” as a default langauge but the result is same… as you can see on the link…
I use FF and IE…
the site menu should be as: http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iii/?direction=rtl
Actually, I do not need ltr direction for this template at all…

April 6, 2010 at 7:28 pm #339358I have the idea to install the persian language and Eureka the Teline III is RTL!
JA team, you did a bad work! The vertical scroll bar is in the left hand of the screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am really unhappy with this quality of work. It is better to say that we do not know how to do it RTL than to inverse the template in an ugly manner…

April 8, 2010 at 6:49 am #339565Dear aratype!
As i said in the previous post:
“The RTL Language is automatict detected and displayed this mode follow the default language. so that you should install a language package which support the Arabic Language”?direction=rtl
This parameter is only using for the testing mode
Now pls open the file global language xml: for example my site is the english language, i ‘ll open the file languageen-GBen-GB.xml
And find code:
<metadata>
<name>English (United Kingdom)</name>
<tag>en-GB</tag>
<rtl>0</rtl>
<locale>en_GB.utf8, en_GB.UTF-8, en_GB, eng_GB, en, english, english-uk, uk, gbr, britain, england, great britain, uk, united kingdom, united-kingdom</locale>
<winCodePage>iso-8859-1</winCodePage>
<backwardLang>english</backwardLang>
<pdfFontName>freesans</pdfFontName>
</metadata>You check data inside the tag:
<rtl>0</rtl>
if the language is the RTL language , so the tag like as following:
<rtl>1</rtl>This value 1 or 0 using for the template engine display or do not display the RTL mode.
I think that your language is not the RTL language, pls try to check again.
Note: Please clear cookie, section before testing. if the problem is not fixed, pls submit a ticket, i ‘ll check this issue in detailAratype FriendAratype

April 8, 2010 at 8:25 am #339579Thanks for your replay.
However, as I indicated in subject #9, what you did is to mirror LTR template and this does not work!
If you use IE, you will see that the vertical scroll bar is in the left hand of the screen… I use, as you I suppose, my right hand to write and I move the mouse with my right hand and I scroll the bar in the right hand… Not because Arabic is RTL it means that we should inverse everything in our life! For this, I decided to create a real RTL Teline III template without simply mirroring an LTR one…
I hope that I am clear:rolleyes:
