September 4, 2009 at 7:34 pm #143930Dear JA Members,
Thanks a lot for your patience and support. Yes, we are behind schedule and August Template is quite delayed, but for better. We at JA took a bold step and decided to revamp the way we produce template and first in the series is JA Teline III.
With an aim of directing JA into new direction, I am releasing the Teline III beta Download for you all. Test is out and let us know of the bugs and suggestion, So that a stable release can be arranged at an earliest.
I am really thankful to you all for the support and patience for the whole period of August. We are behind schedule but for good. Its been a difficult month for all of us.
DOWNLOAD TELINE III BETA RELEASE HERE
Important Notes about the Beta version:
1. Beta versions should be for testing, playing. Never use it for real production
2. The beta version will include only the Quickstart installation, which means that a fresh installation with a clean Joomla installation or installing on your existing website will not be possible. If you are new to JA Quickstart, read this tutorial
3. As the time of this post, the userguide to some new modules/plugins are not available, because you don’t have to do any installation for the extra extensions, you can check it out by changing the configuration via list of provided parameters. The parameters are well described so it is quite easy for you to get around.
3. Please help us to release a better stable version by reporting bugs into this thread
PS: Do not forget to test Teline III on your Iphone, Android, BlackBerry, Nokia or any handheld device you have, simply enter http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iii/ into the phone browsers. We shall try to accommodate most of your suggestions.

I had similar problem but on a different line, but it was fixed today. Will install the beta too and confirm the same.
Make sure you got the latest beta download. Its got updated even after the first download.P.S. >> Dear Members do not use Teline III for Production server, use it only for testing and bug reports only.

Arvind,
Is there a way to get the updated files only so that it would be possible to write over the old files? This is how Joomla updates its CMS.
It is difficult to kinow if you got the latest version with this Note — “Today” –in the download
” JA Teline III – Beta version : Quickstart included Joomla! 1.5.14 (29.29 MB) 1.0 Today 48 0″

Mr. Hung updated the Beta Download zip midway…. So if you are one of the first five download, may be you can try the download again now…. You might get the updated version.
There might be another release of beta zip in the coming two days… as the demo and SVN are still bit different and once the developer go through the commits made today, another release might be made (can not confirm this though). It might take longer.. so that max is covered in each update.
Arvind.

September 4, 2009 at 9:56 pm #316416Also if you use a ftp client like the free firezilla you can upload the template again and choose to only overwrite updates files.

I’ve just downloaded and install Teline III demo, site is working with other templates (beez, JA_Purity and rhuk_milkyway ) but doesn’t work with JA_Teline_III template. No errors, only white blank page.Greg Banig FriendGreg Banig

This is showing on the homepage, index.php. I just did a new installation at godaddy using the quickstart.
