You guys are smarter than me with the technical stuff, so I have to ask – I just added a FaceBook “Share” button to my 1.6 site article, however, when I repost on Facebook the description is pulled from the main site meta description (Global Setting) instead of the Article meta description. Is this something in the plugin? Template? Facebook? Would love a fix.

hi, is this still a problem? As far as I know this is likely an issue of our site, FB just parses our page content to get the description.

Yes, it is still an issue. The site Meta is all that’s being posted and the article Meta is ignored.

Its stange, because sometimes the article meta gets transfered and sometimes only the site data is posted. Not a consistant problem.

You can download the latest version of Teline IV 1.6 now, the issue last time has been fixed, the articles meta data are now fetched correctly.

does this fix also apply to teline 4 (for joomla 1.5)?? if not can you tell me how to fix mine. i have same issue. thanks.

Unfortunately this also has been fixed with Teline IV j1.5. I will create another bug report regarding this. Please wait for a little more time for us to give out the fix.
