Can we PLEASE have an accurate set-up guide and plan of the module positions for Teline IV on Joomla 2.5 – the one here is not accurate: http://www.joomlart.com/static/guides/layout/?ja_teline_iv

It has mod position: content_mas_top But there is NO mod position of that name – there are other positions (ie: JA-News1 & JANews2) so it is very difficult to position modules accurately.

ALSO: JA_tabs has changed – there is no ja_tabs module – there is some config info here ( http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-tabs-on-joomla-1-7/) saying create a Create custom HTML module – do we do this or not?

For starters, how about this? –> http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_teline_iv/?tp=1

When you say that it is difficult to position the modules . . . you do know that this is done for you via the quickstart+sample data installation process, right?

Also, there IS a position content-mass-top . . . . though what you will need to do is manually type “content-mass-top” into the position field – which often times “kick starts” it into displaying within the list. (You can also verify that this position IS established by looking within the position listing within your templateDetails.xml file).

Well, I just set up a temporary demo – using JA’s DEMO BUILDER – and, in fact, the JA Tabs 2 module is included
    – and yes, as a Custom_HTML module.

So, if you aren’t wanting to utilize the quickstart+sample data process . . . . then what you can do to review the configuration of the JA Tabs 2 module within our demo is, as I did above, utilize JA’s DEMO BUILDER and either cross-check your own settings or use the demo as a model to set up your own.

    Thanks…
The QuickStart IS useful when doing a fresh install – but no use at all when the template has to be installed on an existing site.

In that case, using our DEMO BUILDER as a “cross-reference” and/or learning tool is very useful for figuring a great many setting/configuration issue out. I, myself, utilize this method quite often when reviewing and resolving Member questions/issues.
