May 21, 2012 at 12:02 am #177330Most of my articles are imported by FeedGator using an hourly cronjob. What I notice is that the articles are coming in normally at every full hour but do not appear always in the bulletin. For several days I did not refresh cache at backend and so the bulletins displayed old articles only while the Latest News module is working normally. Is there a way to run cache refresh using a cronjob?

Hi teutobahiano,
You go to your Global configuration >> System tab, there you set a time for “Cache Time” field that should be short enough as you wanted.
I Think it should help.1 user says Thank You to Sherlock for this useful post

CACHE ON – PROGRESSIVE CACHING
CACHE HANDLER: FILE
CACHTE TIME: 15Today I checked the articles in NEW IN ENGLISH – France 24: The “newest” article displayed was two days old and only appeared after the usual cache refresh on backend.

Are you running a third party cache system ? you can try to disable the cache option in template back-end to see if it help, if it does not just pm me your url, the admin account and the FTP Info and I will have further checking for you.
