A question from a newbie
wondering how I can change the banner at with the Teline Logo at teh top of the quick start template and replace it with my own logo.
Also, how do you modify the HTML code (ie how to access the editor).
Is it possible to embed the Joomla template within a normal webpage or does it need to be stand alone. I just want to have a side bar that links to the other parts of my web site (eg PHPbb bulletin board forums etc)

Hi,
A simple method of getting your logo up is to rename it to logo.gif and then send it up to your site by FTP and over-ride the Teline Logo. If your logo can’t be changed to a Gif file you will need to edit the template’s code and change the file extension to match your logo’s type.
This is where you would FTP your logo to;
/templates/ja_teline/images/logo.gif
Not sure exactly what you are trying to do in regards to your other questions. You can add menu links to those other areas of your site . That would be fairly easy.

I am trying to create a site that easy for members to freely post articles and news etc. A couple of further Qustions if I could:
can you allow all members to submit articles and if so how
and
can you embed youtube movies onto an article e.g. like the flash movie capability (have not figured how to master that one either.
