Hi,
I get an issue when attempting to install Teline Quick Start.
I get as far as Database Configuration and then I get the error “The MySQL database Name must start with a letter, and be followed by only letters, numbers or underscores.”
The database name is web32-a-joom-478, which is generated by my Host. and I cant change the first part, ie “web32-“. I can change “name” . The format is always webnn-name.
The host has its own Joomla install which works perfectly well when configurng database connections. I have installed numerouse Joomla sites with the naming convention, using boyth Host auto install and by manually loadinf files via ftp. This is the first time I Have come across this error.
How can I install Teline Quick start?

HI jmccann,
Are you using a shared server in your hosting service?
This is a server issue, you should discuss it with your hosting service. Just consider this:
“The MySQL database Name must start with a letter, and be followed by only letters, numbers or underscores.”
violated by this”
web32-a-joom-478
There are three hyphens, but one is too many. It violates the rule.

July 22, 2008 at 10:24 am #261466Hi,
I installed a fresh Joomla site using Host install scripts. This ran fine.
I ftp’d the quck start directory tructure up to server.
I then ran the update.sql to populate databse with Teline sample data. Finally i copied over the installed config.php to the Teline directory, which had tehj datbasedetails and ecerything worked fine.
Strange that the Teline didnt install!!
Thanks for your help

5. JA Tabs & JA HighSlide (embedded)
JA Tabs was integrated in template, all you have to do is publish your desire modules to user6 position, it will be display in a tab on FrontPage. There’s only one note for users who using JA MooTabs: All module published to user6 position MUST set Show Title >> On.Where I can I activate this?
Also we have followed the direction and are bit frustrated after doing this for while to not have enruthing looking like the template.
Can someone explain in detail what we are doing wrong. http://www.livinghalal.com/joomla
appreciated!
