April 30, 2015 at 6:29 am #205960Since upgrading my site from University T3 to Teline V I have resizing problems with the Jomsocial status update box/form.
Here’s what happens:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/08e4vbwl19
As you can the status update entry box does not expand as it should and the text which doesn’t fit bleeds outside the box.
Here’s how the same pages looks with the Atomic template:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b54vbw20d
As you can see, the status update entry box expands.
Feel free to take my site offline for maintenance and play around with the templates.

May 1, 2015 at 2:34 pm #569114Here’s a short video demonstration of the problem.

If I switch the template to Atomic instead of Teline V, the box keeps getting bigger while I type.

June 10, 2015 at 4:08 am #573528You can fix the problem on your site with my solution below
Create templates/ja_teline_v/css/custom.css file
.joms-postbox-content .inputbox textarea.input {
height: auto !important;
}1 user says Thank You to Ninja Lead for this useful post

I did not see templates/ja_teline_v/css/custom.css file on your site but I just helped you to fix it with the solution #6, now you can see it’s working fine.

July 7, 2015 at 6:37 am #576585custom.css is definetely there. there are lots of customisations in there. however, the problems with the status update form not expanding still is happening. The text just scrolls up instead of the box increasing.
