I made an installation by quickstard to use as a model and made another empty facility, which will be my main, where I was creating all new as quickstar model.
Everything is working fine except for two things … 1 – The module that is in the header "Trending Topics" installed as is the quickstart, but it appears blank (attached image) what I have done wrong? how can I make it work?
2 – In the Face Book module, I put the banner-footer, but it was bad the standard white on black background, in the documentation of the module appears that it has the template option "white or dark," but that came in the package not these options appear …
To this module I need to set the header "Use Small Header" and change the white to dark theme How can I make these two changes in the module face book?

It shows articles assigned to a specific topic , so you will need to create new topics from content manager – add new -> Topic
and then you can assign an articles to a specific topic you created and such articles will be showed in the trendic-topics module.

To verify this we will need of an url to your website and if possible a temp super user account to your backend, you can edit first post and add your info.
Sorry, I not yet understood how it works the header "Trending Topics"…
For example:
I have a name of article "Visit of José"
This article is in the category "travel"
I have the module "Trending Topics" in the header-1 as Ja ACM "Magazine – Topic: Links"
I will not have any "menu item" related or the item or category
what it is that sign or relate to where the article "Visit to Jose" appears inside the module?
However i will explain how to associate an article to a topic
1) Module Ja ACM "Magazine – Topic: Links will show all articles associated to a specific topic
2) Go to Contents -> Articles > Add new -> Select Topic
3) Add topic name and save it in a specific category
4) Open article you want to associate to a specific topic ( for example Visit of José can be associated to the topic "travel" )
5) From the General Tab select the topic you want to associate to this specific article ( look at the image below )
6) Now from your Module Ja ACM "Magazine – Topic: Links you can select categories where you have articles and topics
1) If you look at THIS PAGE You will see that new version due to the facebook api changes layout should be in another way as showed by the attached image, exactly like the way you have it
2) You created article as Topic and not as Article – 2 items type, Topic and Article are using different layouts, the topic layout has no left toolbar for sharing tools like article layout , so you will need to change item type from Topic to Article
Layouts types are stored in this folder /templates/ja_teline_v/html/layouts/joomla/content/item/
edit 2 files topic.php and default.php and you will see that topic.php is missing of the sharing tools section available in default.php file
