Hi,

After spending many hours to find, which K2 version is compatible with J2.5.8 (or generally J2.5) I beg for the help for the K2 users (in TelineIV of course)

I’ve just upgraded my site from J1.5 to J2.5. As you know, there is no K2 integrated in TelineIV template (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20381)

The marketing site (http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-teline-iv) says, they support K2, nut it is not cealr, which version.

I managed to have an answer earlier, that allegedly the K2v2.5.6 is supported. However the 2.5.7 is only a maintenace release. Is not that supported then? Who knows?

That is for sure, that v2.6.1 is not OK with TelineIV+Joomla2.5 For example, you can choose a category for a menupoint, but the layout options does not work. They remain “grey” and not selectable at all.

If you have this secret information (the working K2 version number) please share it!

Hi,
K2 version is compatible with J2.5.8 (or generally J2.5). To double check on the answer, I suggest you to go on K2 forum http://getk2.org/ and seek for it, as K2 isn’t our extension, they’ll know their core code better than we do. Newest version of K2 v2.6.1 works well with J2.5.7 (I believe so). Plus we only do style for this 3rd party extension – K2 – for our template.

At the moment, there is no K2 style for Teline IV template just yet especially for Joomla 2.5. K2 style is only available for Teline IV Joomla 1.5 version.

For the recent release of Joomla 3.0, we currently do not have any upgrading plan for K2 in Teline IV. However, if you would to use K2 for Teline IV, please do feel free to do so. You might need to do a bit customization on the CSS style for it.
