March 26, 2010 at 2:47 pm #149842Hello.
A good friend just notified me that when she goes to my website – http://www.prizedplaces.com – the menu switches back at the far right (see Philadelphia under Los Angeles in her screenshot). I don’t have a problem with this in any of my browsers. Is something screwy with her computer? Or, is the problem at my end?
The username and password to access the website are: prizedplaces and roberto. It is only temporarily password protected and will go live very soon.
thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,
what you have there is seen quite often among Mac owners. Your friend uses Safari browser on a Mac which can sometimes show a difference in the width of the fonts, which resulted in Philadelphia not being able to fit in the submenu, so it dropped onto the new line.
If you want to make sure your Mac visitors won’t be facing this, you should narrow the submenu a bit (throw out one menu item, or one or two characters), or increase the width of the template if previous option is out of the question. You don’t have to expand (or shorten the menu) it for much, i think 10 or 20 pixels would be sufficient.Good luck 🙂
