August 9, 2008 at 12:40 am #132002On JA Edonite,
get this error when trying to use editor.
I did put the fix
<?
if ( $my->id ) {
initEditor();
}
?>but still get this error
Warning: filemtime() [function.filemtime]: stat failed for 1 in /home/vedor2/public_html/mambots/editors/fckeditor.php on line 476
Any help from anyone is so much appreciated !
Thank you !

August 9, 2008 at 2:06 am #264635You still get the error?
So I guess you had the error even if that line wasn’t in your index.php of your template?Anyway, I see that you use J!1.0 and fckeditor.
The options you have before blaming the template are :1 – Uninstall FCK Editor mambot (and component if there is one)
2 – Get JCE (wich is way better) from here LINK
3 – Get the component for JCE Admin from here LINK
4 – Install both, publish the mambot and go to Components -> JCE Admin -> JCE Configuration
5 – Just save, you don’t have to change anything for the time being
6 – Go to your user and select your editor as JCE.After these steps make sure that in your index.php of your Edenite template you have this :
<?php if ( $my->id ) { initEditor(); } ?>
<?php mosShowHead(); ?>
Report back if you still have problems.
Good luck!
