Hello,

I’m trying to change the width of the left, main, right columns.

To start, I changed the right column width to 220 by editing the following portion in templates/ja_nickel/css/template.css.

#ja-col2 {
float: right;
line-height: 1.5;
width: 240px;

But even after I changed it, it doesn’t seem to change the actual width.

I cleared the cache of the browser, waited for 24 hours considering ISP cache, cleared all backend cache… and yet, when I check the site, it doesn’t reflect.

I’d appreciate any help.

Please post URL of your site here and also set Compress CSS to No in template manager and if possible, some screenshots of how you want to achieve will help much.

Hi sushismb,

You can edit it and upload it via FTP. If you want to edit it from administrator page, i worried you can’t because it’s the setting is unwritable.
