Hi,

I have installed the Quickstart JA_Corona and JA_dravity templates but when I go to the site I just get a white background with the demo sites text and images on it.

I have tried reinstalling the joomla quickstart package but this makes no difference. At this point I have made NO modifications to the template or package contents at all.

If I apply an older template like JA_Sargos to the same site, it works correctly. Therefore this is not an issue with my machine and cannot be a conflict with any modules because I’m using the demo data provided in the quickstart package.

Can you please help?

It looks like you do not set JA Dravity as the default template for the site?

Is there anyway you could put the template online so that we all can have a look?

Hi,

I had problems with editing the default color of the corona template in the admnistrator area. It could not be found so I checked the quickstart zip file (1.0 & 1.5 version) and it appears that in the color folder there is no default file. Just black.

templates >> ja_corona >> templates >> css >> colors >> black

Don’t know if this anything to do with it??

Hi,

The template is set to default. I’ve been looking at this for ages. I ran a quick test in my live environment and had exactly the same problem.

Its like it can’t find the css files required. I can’t really put this against my live environment to demonstrate because its a live online store. (hence I’m using my test server on my laptop).

I can email the page source if given an address?

I’m not sure if this has something to do with the following two lines in the index.php as I don’t have these .css files anywhere on my system?

Do you have this line:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo $tmpTools->templateurl(); ?>/css/template.css" type="text/css" />
And a file called:
template.css
in the css folder?

Yes I have all of that.

I have not modified the installation or template in any way. If you download the same package from the website and install it does it work straight away?

I can’t see how that can happen.

I did and its working here. which server do you use for localhost? Give me a copy of the source as you mentioned above.

Please note that this happens on the live web host too and affects all the latest templates such as avian2, corona, dravity and edenite.

Other templates such as erica and fagus work straight away.

(just to confuse the situation my test servers root dir is called ja_corona as thats what I was testing when I set it up)

I think its effecting all the templates that use the templateurl() function but I’m most likely wrong.
