Hi

I have installed OSE control component but it does not work because:

the OSE Guys have sent me this-
Issue::
The problem is from the template, where the new JA templates uses their Module helper to get the module list, I am going to send you a module helper file for OSE, which you can send it to JA team and ask them to upgrade the template so it works with OSE membership control.

, they are not sure where to put the helper file, so could you could anyone tell me where I should place the file to resolve the issue please.

I have attatched the said helper.php file.

Help here on this will be a great help to me but im sure to others so ver much appreiated.

We have faced the problem because of conflict when overridding core Joomla class. Then we (Metamod & Nonumber & Joomlart) work together to resolve this problem. The solution is have the same overridden core Joomla class (in this case is the JModuleHelper). Then it doesn’t matter if one extension overrides the file of the other. The common file raises events and the actual overridden code are implemented in each extension. Therefore, there’s no more conflict.

I think you could request OSE author to implement their override in this way. They could download our T3v2 Framework plugin and get the overridden modulehelper (plugins/systems/jat3/core/joomla/modulehelper.php), then apply their override part into a plugin.
