    Hi, I tried to install ja_onepage 1.5 in a fresh joomla 3.1.1 installation (after T3 installation) but the installer say:

    <blockquote>
    Error
    There was an error uploading this file to the server.
    </blockquote>

    I tried using “install from directory”, I placed ja_onepage.v1.0.5.zip in to joomla tmp folder but installer say:

    <blockquote>
    Warning
    JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
    </blockquote>

    and

    <blockquote>
    Error
    Path does not have a valid package.
    </blockquote>

    Thanks

    Are you trying to install via the Joomla backend or via FTP?

    Also, are you trying to install the quickstart package?

    Hi Tom,
    I tried via Joomla backend and FTP and yes the quickstart package work fine but i want a fresh install not a quickstart (if possible).

    Well, I’m sure you do know that you can fresh install the template via the quickstart package, and it installs the Joomla CMS and T3 framework for you as part of the process, right? It really makes the whole process that much easier and avoids overlapping install conflicts. Of course, you don’t have to install the sample data with the installation if you don’t want to . . . though I find it a great starting point rather than trying to re-invent the wheel.

    Let me/us know how the install turns out for you …. be sure to truly start from scratch – including using a new/fresh/clean database
