    Hi,

This may be a stupid question but I really need some help on this. I had been trying to get the slideshow and the banners to work on my home page but to no avail so I got into the template manager and chose a different layout for the home page and it appeared. But now the problem is the other pages do not show any content because the positions on those pages have changed. Is there any way to choose and set a different layout for the home page and another for all the other pages ?

    Of course it is possible.

You can duplicate the default style and assign to it a new layout with your needed positions and then assign the new style to other pages

    Hi

I logged into your backend and tried to look at your front end too, it gives error “redirect loop” and probably this is also the reason why i cannot access layouts from template configuration.

Try to check your settings and verify why this is happening otherwise i cannot be more helpful than this

    HI,

I did take care of the redirect loop problem, it was due to the language filter plugin (Virtuemart). Can you please try now and help me set up the tabs on the home page, I mean the position on the template layout. Im still unable to figure that one out.

    Hi

I correctly duplicated the default template style ( Ja Hawkstore – Home ) and assigned it the Home layout from backend, all positions are correctly showed and available for assignments, you configured your website differently from the demo site, so it’s hard for me what you want to accomplish as layouts positions and module assigned to them

You have two ways to check the Ja Hawkstore demo configuration and configure your website

    1) Go to http://builder.joomlart.com/ and install a ja hawkstore demo site to verify all modules , positions configurations and assignments
    2) Read the Template documentation HERE
