    Last year I’ve made a website for a client of mine
    and used this template with some modifications in use of colour etc.
    All of a sudden since last week, the template seems to be all messed up.
    It has happend 3 times now.

    The only thing I do then: in the backend – by the template- give it a default colour
    and than change it back to ‘blue-light’
    and everything is back to normal.

    I don’t know what is is and what I can do??? I do need help very bad…
    Because my client (afcourse) is a little bit angry 🙁

    To bad I haven’t made a screenshot of that bad situations, because I am all in panic at that moment to solve the problem.
    I only have a screenshot of how it looks now and that is OK. Maybe wait till it happens again??
    Or maybe you already know what it is? Many thanks in advance!

    It would be helpful to see how the site is becoming “messed up” when you try to change the color theme.

    Without knowing/seeing specifics, my initial thought is that you might not have integrated the same styling modifications for each color theme as you did with the “blue-light” theme which is mostly used.

    I don’t know what is going on, sometimes it is messed up and than later again it is oké.
    For now it is oké again, but I would like to find out why it sometimes (for no reason) it messes up…

    Please check your article. Sometimes its HTML structure is incorrect because “read more” indicator.

    E.g.

    <div>
    …….
    <READ MORE indicator>
    …..
    </div>

    As you see in above example, if only intro text is displayed in blog layout of content, there will be no closed tag for “div”. And it’ll make the home page like a mess.

    Regards.

    ??? Wauw, I’m really greatfull for your answer and also surprised!!!
    You really think that, that is the problem?
    Because it always happens without any reason…

    For example: on a sunday it is al ‘messed-up’ and then on a monday night everything is oké again,
    without changing anything.

    I will look at this right away.
    Again, I am really greatfull! 🙂
    Many thanks!

    Hi Stork11,

    You are right about the </div> – because there is no ‘div’…
    But the site still looks oké for now.
    So I am wondering/questioning if that really is the problem?

    I just got a call from my client that the site is messed up again…
    It started a month ago. Could the problem be something else? A monthly check-up or something???
