November 2, 2012 at 5:26 am #181896There are sometimes when the web site looks totally messed up. I have attached a word document with screenshots of a day when the web site looks bad.
I think is related to the cache system. I have disabled in some modules the cache and has reduced the times when the template looks messed up. I haven’t been able to disable the cache from the template manager, it just hangs and never saves the option. I have tried with Firefox when it looks messed up and in the same computer using Chrome it looks good, then I refresh several times in Firefox without changing anything and suddenly looks good again.
Why is the template caching when Joomla already has cache enabled?
Why is this happening?
sometimes is only an article sometimes the whole section.

November 5, 2012 at 5:32 pm #471973Is there anybody there?.
I think the template cache and Joomla cache are conflicting and that’s the issue. I can’t disable the cache in the template, it just hangs when I try and why would you cache the template when there is already Joomla cache anyway??

November 6, 2012 at 3:35 am #471996Why would you want me to disable Joomla cache?. why is that you have template cache when Joomla already has cache?
This is not a problem that stays all the time, that’s exactly what I do normally, clean the cache so the problem goes away, but that is so frequently so before you get access to my site, could you please tell me or explain me more about your cache?
I think that it would be better to understand this instead fixing something that we won’t know later what happens.
– Why can I not disable the template cache? It just hangs and never ends.
– Why Joomla cache should be disabled?
– Why your template cache has to be enabled?Your template is very unstable, there are many details that shouldn’t be happening, I have run my web site with your template for almost 5 months and there are many details that I have to waste more time trying to figure out what is going on with the template than actually working on new development for my web site.
I just need to get rid of this issue.

November 6, 2012 at 5:00 am #472011Hi,
Sorry for any inconvenience you got. We assure that our templates are tested carefully before the release.– Why can I not disable the template cache? It just hangs and never ends.
>> It’s an error, so please send me your Admin access so we can check what the problem.
– Why Joomla cache should be disabled?
>> One system should use one cache to handle, why you need two. If you want to use cache of Joomla that’s fine. Your problem with T3 cache will be fix soon, then you can disable it.
– Why your template cache has to be enabled?
>> Using cache will increase the speed of your site.
Cache template is not a require, using or not is your choice.
Here the link of wiki T3V3 cache for reference: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#System_Settingsmadelman2012 Friendmadelman2012

November 12, 2012 at 5:59 am #472608I was able to disable the cache in the template. The .htaccess script provided by Joomla conflicts with your programs, so I disabled the .htaccess for a while and that helped to disable the cache.
Now your template keeps showing the same issue. I had to remove the whole cache directory to restore the web site then it worked for a while until I updated the web site with some article. What I noticed is that when the I am not logged the web site looks bad and if I login it show right.
This is not good.
Look at the images I am posting here. How come is that logged in the web site looks fine then logged out it looks bad?
Look the time at the upper right corner, it is a difference of a minute, so it is not that it happened after a while it just switching between sessions.
As I said, this kind of issues make your template so unstable and it is annoying me. It is incredible that you as developer can’t reproduce this issue.

Here what I see when browser on your site: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/717/1123289464.jpg
Our T3 framework doesn’t relate to the .htaccess file.
And as you said, you have disabled T3 cache, and the problem still there, then the problem isn’t coming from T3 cache.
Relate with .htaccess file, must be an extension change the path of your site, do you use any extension to rewrite your URL path ?
Once you get the problem, did you try to clear cache of Joomla and your site back to normal ?madelman2012 Friendmadelman2012

>> Yes, if I keep refreshing or cleaning the link from the admin “JAT3 Clean Cache” sometimes it works some other times I need to go directly and remove the cache directory manually. There is something messing up the template, it is not possible that when a user is logged it looks fine then if I logout it looks bad.Our T3 framework doesn’t relate to the .htaccess file.
>> It is not that is related to the .htaccess, I had another issue updating information in one of the modules and somebody else told me that you use php directly on some modules and the .htaccess is the one recommended by Joomla for security, some of your modules hang and can’t finish or run. As soon as the .htaccess is disabled your modules work. The .htaccess is just security and I think that if Joomla is recommending to use as it is, then whatever it is should be affecting other templates too which is not the case. And as you said, you have disabled T3 cache, and the problem still there, then the problem isn’t coming from T3 cache.
>> Maybe, but there is something else that is affecting the template. I am not inventing or photoshopping those images, they are real and maybe you might need to hit the web site at different times to get the issue.Relate with .htaccess file, must be an extension change the path of your site, do you use any extension to rewrite your URL path ?
>> No, I don’t use any extension, it is joomla and your template what is installed, nothing else.Once you get the problem, did you try to clear cache of Joomla and your site back to normal ?
>> Yes, but it didn’t work. I clean browser cache, I clean joomla cache from the admin and nothing helps. Sometimes by refreshing the browser several times works some other doesn’t and then I have to go and manually remove everything in the cache directory on the server and that helps.Luna Garden ModeratorLuna Garden

November 15, 2012 at 8:03 am #472984Hi,
If you keep getting page without CSS style after clear cache of T3, then in back end of template edit page, we set Development Mode to yes, cache will be automatically removed.
It would better for us if we have your back-end access info for checking.
You know we have a long conversation, but nothing’s solved. -
