I have installed the quickstart version of JA Travel, but after installing and upgrading Joomla, the template isn’t showing at all. Take a look at www3.nordlyshotell.no
What is happening? I haven’t even touched the template options at all.

May 1, 2014 at 10:51 pm #533215When you say you upgraded Joomla – do you mean for Joomla 3.3?
I ask because – from what I understand – the stable J3.3 was only just released within the lat 48 Hrs or so . . . as such, JA Travel has not yet been updated for J3.3. JA Travel is currently updated for/compatible with J3.1.
It’s always a good idea to check the relative template’s Changelog before updating anything – to make sure that the necessary compatibility issues have been addressed.
May 1, 2014 at 11:00 pm #533216Updated to Joomla 3.3, yes.
But before that upgrade, I upgraded to 3.2 and things worked. Besides, we’re not allowed to run our site with outdated Joomla software.
Are there any reasons why JA Travel still are on 3.1?, a version almost a year old…

May 1, 2014 at 11:02 pm #533217If it worked with v3.2, I recommend sticking with that until such time as JA Travel is updated for J3.3.
I will forward your question onto the JA Development Team for further comment as to the update schedule

May 5, 2014 at 8:15 am #533550I’m afraid JA Teline Template only supports up to J3.2.3. I have raised this bug to development team here.
For now, you can downgrade Joomla version to J3.2.3 and wait for next release of JA Travel Template version.
This way will help you to downgrade Joomla version.
+ Download source code of Joomla 3.2.3
+ Copy 3.2.3 files and override 3.3 files
May 5, 2014 at 9:20 am #533564Hello Ninja Lead, I presume you mean JA Travel template, not Teline?
I have reinstalled everything and are currently running 3.1, not sure if I should upgrade to 3.2.x 😮 so you can guarantee it will work perfectly with 3.2.3?
Here’s hoping you will update the template to make it work with the 3.3.x series.

May 6, 2014 at 5:21 am #533725I have raised the problem about JA Travel template compatibility with J3.3 to development team for further checking. I just tested and see JA Travel template can work fine J3.2.3. You can give it a try.
We have JA Teline IV template that works with J3.2.3 too. However, please consider to wait for some time, as we plan to upgrade T3 framework plugin of JA Teline IV template to work with J3.3.

May 6, 2014 at 3:42 pm #533846So I found out that it was not the upgrading that broke the template, it was me going into template options and doing changes. As soon as I pressed ‘Save’ I was doomed. And it was only trivial things I changed.
Any ideas on how to reverse this situation without reinstalling everything or do a complete backup recovery?

May 7, 2014 at 5:07 am #533940OK, so yesterday I was assured that JA Travel supported the 3.2.x branch of Joomla. Today I have to downgrade to 3.1.x.
When is this template going to be updated to the newest Joomla version?

May 7, 2014 at 7:26 am #533955I have raised the case to our bug tracking system http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JATCTRAVELJ16-129, our development team will need time to check and have the template updated.

May 9, 2014 at 5:18 pm #534392Hi rasivert
I had the same problem, but I am stuck with the template as this was what the client wanted…
However, I am running it on 3.3.0. I also had the problem in 3.2.5 where the template crashed after saving a change in administrator.
What worked for me:
Download the lates JA T3v2 System Plugin for J25 & J32 zip-file version 2.7.1 and install it. I believe the framework zip file that is in the Travel package is out dated.
Also do a global check-in of your data base(s), located in the system menu in administrator, that solved some funny business me.
It would be nice if the development team would update the package files. Like I say, I am running it on Joomla 3.3.0 and I believe it is a nice template. Lets just hold our breath, touch wood, or something of the kind, that nothing else breaks.
Hope that helps.
