Hi there,
I want to use the JA Avian Template on Joomla 1.5.1. I also made a subdomain for developing purposes. I installed this template and the following error occured:
Warning: main(/var/www/nieuw/templates/ja_avian/ja_templatetools.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/nieuw/templates/jaavian/ja_vars.php on line 42
Warning: main(): Failed opening ‘/var/www/nieuw/templates/ja_avian/ja_templatetools.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php’) in /var/www/nieuw/templates/jaavian/ja_vars.php on line 42
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getlivesiteurl() in /var/www/nieuw/templates/jaavian/ja_vars.php on line 43
Then when i am looking in the file ja_vars.php at these lines, it says this:
# Define the template path ##########
$ja_template_absolute_path = $mosConfig_absolute_path.’/templates/’.$ja_template_name;
include ($ja_template_absolute_path.”/ja_templatetools.php”);
$ja_template_path = getLiveSiteURL().’/templates/’.$ja_template_name;
I think it has something to do with the absolute path or subdomain somewhere in the script. I am also not a PHP expert to find out where the problem might be.
When i am install another template it works fine, everything is showing up.
I hope someone can help me with this. This template fits perfect on my clients wishes.
Thanks in advance.

March 6, 2008 at 10:24 am #241448Hi navnak.
See your error and your code, I can say that you using Avian ii template for Joomla 1.0.
Plz download and install again, i think everything will okieMarch 6, 2008 at 6:17 pm #241498Thanks, i did that. Now it works. I deleted everything. Then I installed Joomla v.1.5.1 with Avian II it worked fine. Is there a possibility to give me an option to install the components the exact way how the demo shows this nice template, because that’s what i need.
When I am download and install the new Com RsGallery2 1.0 modified by JoomlArt I get an error saying that the zip file is too large. How is that possible??
I hope you guys can help me with the above.
Thank you.
Regards Roy

March 6, 2008 at 7:25 pm #241507The zip file is too large because your hosting config set the maximum upload file smaller than the component package.
Please use this solution I’ve posted here to install this component:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/fix-for-timeout-issue-while-installing-rsgallery2-component/March 7, 2008 at 11:22 am #241576thanks for your response. When i do that as described at this thread, i get an Internal Server Error 500.
By the way, this component isn’t written for Joomla 1.5.1, that’s because i must activate the Legacy Plugin in the plugin manager. Is that correct?
Do you have any other advice for me?
Edit: The internal server error message doesn’t appear anymore. When i using the map install function, the same error occurred saying that the folder is too large.
Please advice.
