November 3, 2014 at 8:43 pm #202407Hi all
I have created some extra joomla usergroups (students on different levels), and these I want them to have access to different mega menu items. However, the mega menu has not detected the new created usergroups, all options I have in the mega menu configuration is the default guest, public, registered, and special usergroups.
BTW, I have also created the corresponding Access Viewing Levels for these student groups, but that does not help.
How can I get the mega menu to display and let me configure different settings for my other created usergroups?

November 5, 2014 at 11:18 pm #554321Hi Ninja
Yes, I have created the user groups, and also created the corresponding access levels where the usergroups are assigned to.
Lets say I have 3 student groups (usergroups)
Studentgroup1
Studentgroup2
Studentgroup3Then I have created access levels
Access Level All Students – In this access level I have ticked all 3 studentgroups
Access Level Studentgroup1 – In this access leve I have ticked only Studentgroup1
Access Level Studentgroup2 – In this access level I have ticked only Studentgroup2
And so on…So in the “Viewing Access Level” I have the following:
Guests
Public
Registered
Special
Super Users
Studentgroup1
Studentgroup2
Studentgroup3
All StudentsStill, in the mega menu only guests, public, registerd, special and superusers shows up.

December 10, 2014 at 7:25 am #558116I have been waiting for this feature for months. I don’t understand why someone hasn’t listened to Sophist-UK and tried to implement it. It seems as if he spelled out completely what needs to be done.
