    Hi JoomlArt,

My client’s site has tracking code installed into the following T3 Framework files by a marketing firm:

    /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/blocks/footer.php
    /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/blocks/handheld/footer.php
    /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/blocks/iphone/footer.php

The site uses version 2.6.9 of the T3 Framework and is running on Joomla 3.3.6. And the default template is JA Rave. (I am currently evaluating the site prior to updating it to J! 3.4.4.)

I’m wondering whether this tracking code could have been handled with template overrides? I’m concerned that updating T3 will overwrite the customizations in these three files.
Can you please get back to me and let me know if updating will overwrite them and if so, what the best method would be to add this code to the template. T3 complicates things a bit, so I need some instruction on how best to do it.

If a template override is the method, can you please tell me what the correct file structure would be within the template directory?

Thanks in advance for your help.
