    Hi.

I got problem with a new installed Template (teline_iv). I can not copy files into the image folder or other folders in that template folder, “permission denied”. The permission are 755. I can not set it to 777, I got “permission denied”.

The other templates that I have installed earlier (also 755), I can copy files to, rename or whatever.

When I see the owner/group for the new template, it says “httpd httpd”. All the other templates installed earlier have “stokkebe stokkebe”.
Have the problem occured because of this owner/group thing?

I have used the Joomla installation system in then backend all the time.

The only different is that before I installed the teline_iv template, I upgraded Joomla from 1.5.15 to 1.5.22

Can someone help me out here?

    toloekka 🙂

Do you have your own server or are you on a shared host?

You are correct in that you will have to change the ownership of those folders/files. If you can run the chown command then fine, if you are on a shared host you will have to ask them to do it and talk you through how to avoid this in the future.

It is a shared host, so I have to ask them then.

So something must have been changed on the host since I earlier did not have that problem?
