Hi

I’m new to Joomla/T3.
I’ve installed quickstart J1.7/T3 (clean template) and upgraded to J!2.5. Everything looks and works fine (as far as I’ve checked) except template preview (the one where you can check module positions). Instead of module positions it shows message:
Unfortunately my knowledge of coding is absolute zero so I’m kind of stuck there.
Anybody? Thanks

Yeah does it with mine too… I just figured best to stay with 1.7 for now otherwise it is a lot harder to tell where things are when you are positioning modules and such.

Try with this

http://joomla17-templates.joomlart.com/ja_elastica/?tp=1

If you using localhost then after http://localhost/template name/?tp=1

Thanks

I suppose the only way is to use example website

this works well.

Hello,

It’s not a solution. I upgrade the template installed with quickstart 1.7.0 to 2.5.1 (in 2.5.0 is the same problem), with
http://eimamene-cp46.webjoomla.es/?tp=1
in the positions no appear the position name, only the message .

Any solution ? Thanks in advance

You seem to have fixed this issue- mind sharing how you did it?

Hi. I just encountered the exact same issue on a couple of my sites. Taking cue from second to last reply above (sorry, I don’t have access to that person’s name right now), I found my T3 Framework was out of date and updated to the latest 2.5.

That in itself didn’t solve the issue. However, when I read the system reminder to enable the T3 plugin after the software finished updating, I went to the Plugin Manager just to make sure the plugin was enabled – which it was. While browsing through the list of plugins and seeing which ones were enabled or not, I noticed that one called, ‘System – Language Code’ was disabled. (I vaguely recalled that I might have disabled it on another occasion for some reason.) Anyway, I enabled that plugin, ‘System – Language Code’ and lo and behold, the template module positions were back.

Thanks to the previous members for helping lead to the solution.
