January 7, 2013 at 6:35 pm #478783Hi Everyone
I am very embarrassed to be notified about this issues today. We did have some issues on download system while moving from traditional dedicated hosting to Cloud hosting (CloudLayer from Softlayer)
Unluckily, during the move, CloudLayer had been continuously encountered various DDos attack (http://blog.softlayer.com/tag/ddos/) which made our support/demo/download instances almost unreachable from time to time

Thanks Swissa!</blockquote>
Seems like JoomlArt is not here to comment on this…. We’re left in the cold! And this problem now has been going on since early saturdaymoring (european time)…
You’re looking for something specific? Maybe i can help you out.
</blockquote>Thank you Tom and Swissa for your amazing patience & effort to help out. Our team do the daily monitoring on customer forum, public forums like this are also being checked regularly but daily is not required, that’s why we missed this one on that day.
PS: You will not being left in the cold, again ;);)
January 7, 2013 at 6:56 pm #478786To be honest…
Part of the problem may have been on my part, and here is a tip:
Firefox was blocking the Java runtime plugin – it was disabled, and Joomlart Facebook/Twitter update script requires Java. (Facebook requires Java for sure)
I updated my Java after a day or two … and that may have been the problem. (Facebook is also working for me now.)
TDIL – Must have Java enabled in order to download.

I don’t think so greyghostie, You certainly dont need Java enabled. What browser are you using?
January 7, 2013 at 7:17 pm #478791Firefox – there was a security threat w/ Java 7.0 run-time and Firefox disables it automatically.
I believe the issue was specific to versions before 7.06 …. or patch 10.6 …
I’m really not sure … could be conicidence…
