    Hi,
    maybe a stupid question,
but I made so many modifications in this template, that I am afraid to upgrade the template.

    Any suggestions?

Or has an upgrade of a template nothing to do with how it looks?

First and Foremost . . . BACK UP YOUR ENTIRE SITE + DATABASES before you perform any update/upgrade. Once that is done, THEN try the update.

Depending on how you went about doing your custom modifications – i.e. template overrides/custom.css – there could be issues with updates of core template files during an upgrade. The only way to find out is to perform the upgrade and test things out. If there are significant issues, you can always revert back to your working site – via your complete backup.

I was afraid of that 🙂
I hoped that the upgrade of a template had nothing to do with the looks.
    Thank you anyway Tom
