I downloaded 3 templates to play with on a new site I’m developing, but when I went to install the ja_antares template I got the following error:
Unrecoverable error “PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10)”

The other template installations worked, but not this one. I read the other forum posts and saw where others have had this issue in the past. So I tried to unzip and then rezip the file as suggested, but this didn’t work for me. I even tried re-downloading it again from Joomlart, but this didn’t fix the problem either.

I did upgrade to Joomla 1.0.12 last nite, but this shouldn’t be a problem if other templates installed just fine that I downloaded today from here.

I would like to get a good zip file to install for this template. Please help!

I went back (for the 3rd time) to rezip the local files into a new zip folder, and then checked the host server. I found a folder already there for ja_anatares in the templates directory. So I deleted it, and then did the install. This time it worked with no hitch.

http://www.perrycountylibrary.info/main is my test site, and it has worked beautifully!
