Hi

    I am using the JA Fedora template on Joomla 1.0.15

    I have created a site in a directory on my server. The directory is /pbc. When I connect (using Firefox or IE) directly to the folder, http://s229552867.websitehome.co.uk/pbc then everything is fine – as the attached image pbcfolder.jpg shows.

    Once I was happy with the site, I pointed the domain to that folder via the control panel on my server. The domain is http://www.pbcbreweryinstallations.com. When I try to connect to the domain, the content is there but the template is not showing. You can see this in the attached image pbcsite.jpg

    I have tried clearing cache / using different browsers / using different computers / using a .htaccess file and not using one and rebooting my pc.

    sh404SEF is disabled, I have installed it but didn’t want to enable it until I was totally happy with the site.

    This is so bizarre as it is the same directory on the server, just different ways of accessing it. Any ideas????

    Kate

    Do you need to change the config file to the new livesite value, and perhaps some of the folders (such as tmp, log, etc)?

    You could check that to be sure all folders and paths are correct for your new URL.

    Dear digileaf,

    you are still using J 1.0 version. You need to change the

$mosConfig_live_site = ‘http://www.pbcbreweryinstallations.com’;

    in your configuration.php file line 46.

    I have fixed the issue. Please confirm. http://www.pbcbreweryinstallations.com/

    Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Wow, sometimes it’s the simplest thing. I’m embarrassed that I couldn’t work that one out :-[

    Thanks again.

    How do I mark this as solved?
