There are a lot of tutorials for fresh installation and quicstart site, however I could find anything about upgrading the Teline II template and the corresponding modules!

Do I have just to override files, (and loosing site logo/name in front page, for example) uninstall and reinstall template and modules, thus loosing all the configuration?

also I downloaded the Teline II v.1.5.6 but I cannot find all the extensions that the tutorial says it should be manually installed!
JA Login, JA Tabs, JA Highslide… There are only JA News, JA News Frontpage, JAzin and JA spotlight.

I upgraded my site from joomla 1.5.3 to 1.5.7 and Teline 1.3 to 1.5
Joomla upgrade won’t affect your site. However, you need to uninstall your Teline II and you will end up redoing some of the manual modification.

    1.Uninstall Teline II
    2. Reinstall Teline II (new version)
    3. Uninstall mod catslwi, janews, janews fp and jazin plugin.
    4. Reinstall the new one from Extension folder you’ve downloaded.
    5. Then apply all the changes you did from previous version…. footer, title, etc. etc.

I had a number of problems doing this option such as I couldn’t transfer files to the template folder, some of the parameters of the modules are empty, etc.

Be sure to backup your files so you could use them as your reference later.

I suggest you just upgrade your Joomla.
    Goodluck!

By the way, skip reinstallng jazin plugin. Install it only if you want to make another magazine menu.
