Something that doesn’t make any sense, each template quick start pack comes with the default templates you get from Joomla.

Wouldn’t it make sense to delete the extra templates, like purity/beez/milkyway and save on the added filesize and time taken to upload?

Not sure if altering the standard joomla install (next to adding the template) is a good idea.

What they are doing now is sitting on the safe side.

Some might even want the standard templates for testing reasons, some might like other things, some might like a total stripped version.
