Hi. I hope you can help me. I just ordered your service yesterday and I am having difficulties getting the template I chose (JA community) to upload to my host. Other templates from various other sites (none from your site) all load with no problem. But the ones from your site won’t upload and I get an error message “jinstaller: :install: can not find the XML setup file” Please help.
I’ve read the other posts on this subject and tried some of those things. I am using Joomla 2.5.24. at first I could not upload the packets at all (unzipped) and got timeouts of the message ” so I used Webdisk to install the JA T3 plugin and the JA community template directly to the host. However, when I tried to install them I got the following error:Failed loading XML file
/home/theroad1/public_html/joomla16/templates/joomla_3_/templateDetails.xml
XML: failed to load external entity “/home/theroad1/public_html/joomla16/templates/joomla_3_/templateDetails.xml”here’s the rest of my sys info:

September 11, 2014 at 8:19 pm #549206Hi
Could you explain in details what are you trying to do ?
You have 2 options to install our templates
1) You can install template.zip file on a previous Joomla installation using the Joomla Extension Manager
2) You can install our quickstart version if you are starting a new website , quickstart will install an exact replica of our demo site.
So only in the second option you need to upload extracted files to your server.
This type of error “Failed loading XML file” is coming out because you are trying to load the wrong file.
September 12, 2014 at 1:38 am #549214I’d prefer to have the demo version installed as I am making a website for the first time (ever). I’ll try to do a better job explaining. I have Joomla 2.5 already installed on my web host. I read the documentation along with the JA Community Plus template that I want to use and the documentation said to upload two things to my joomla account for it to work. 1.) JA T3 system plugin and then 2.) the JA Community plus template files. (I selected the joomla 3/ 2.5 option and unclicked anything that was above 2.5 then I downloaded the lot. So, I downloaded both those template files and the JA T3 system plugin to my computer, then I logged into my Joomla account and went to Extension manager and tried to upload via uploading the template zip file. That did not work it just timed out and failed. So I read some posts of people who had this issue, and those said that this happens when the template file is not unzipped first, so I unzipped and tried again first with t3 then with template. Again nothing would upload. not the t3 plugin and not the JA community template files. So then I tried option two and tried to upload the unzipped files directly to my home directory in cpanel in the public/Joomla/templates and in public/joomla/plugin for the t3. I used webdisk to move the files directly from my computer to cpanel. Actually I first loaded t3 to templates as well, but when it didn’t work I then I moved it to the plugin folder and re-tried. The T3 system plugin no longer shows up when I use “discover,” so maybe that actually installed. However the JA Community plus template file still shows up in “discovery” I think is titled joomla_3_(I uploaded an unzipped version of the whole folder directly to the webhost public/joomla/templates directory). so when I use discovery it shows joomla_3_ but when I select it and click install I get the error message:
Failed loading XML file
/home/theroad1/public_html/joomla16/templates/joomla_3_/templateDetails.xml
XML: failed to load external entity “/home/theroad1/public_html/joomla16/templates/joomla_3_/templateDetails.xml”thank you!

September 12, 2014 at 6:14 am #549289<blockquote>I’d prefer to have the demo version installed</blockquote>
Then you should download the quickstart version – JA Community Plus for Joomla 2.5 (13.69 MB) quickstart 09-13-2013
Quickstart version install Joomla core plus the template with demo data as seen on our demo site
Steps to install quickstart versions are follows
Assuming it is a new joomla installation you need to install it in a completely empty folder ( no other joomla verion installed ) and on a new database
1) Download quickstart version and extract files ( if you have a cpanel you can extract directly on webserver ) otherwise upload all files on your server folder where you want to install Joomla .
2) Point your browser to your website address and start installation , when asked fill in your DB details and remember to install sample data when requestedHere you have a userguide to the quickstart installation .
September 12, 2014 at 4:34 pm #549393Thank you for your help, I appreciate it. Creating a database is beyond my abilities. I have cpanel, but there is no database creation tool. When I used softaculous (provided by my host) to install joomla it automatically created a database for me. Rather than remove that joomla and install a new one and then try to figure out how to create a database so that I can install quickstart, Since I don’t know how to create a database, I think it would be much easier for me to just do the first option and go without the demo site. The problem is the template.zip file wont upload on my previous Joomla installation using the Joomla Extension Manager, it just times out.
