March 4, 2009 at 9:02 pm #138798Hi
I got following problem after installing and chosing Teline ii as template
Warning: require_once() [function.require-once]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(../helper.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/tmp:/var/www/XXXXXX/web) in /var/www/XXXXXX/web/templates/ja_teline_ii/html/com_content/section/blog.php on line 8
Warning: require_once(../helper.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /var/www/web171/web/templates/ja_teline_ii/html/com_content/section/blog.php on line 8
The problem only occur at pages where I have used the blog layout.
I’m using Joomla 1.5.9
When I google this problem I see that other websites has the same problem.
Best regards

March 5, 2009 at 2:28 am #294494Firstly, think this is just a warning? does your site show up properly? try turning off warnings in your Global Configuration-> Server
Also, this error occurs when your host is running PHP with open_basedir restriction. contact your host to disable this restriction for you

Thank you jsliao. But I checked both of your suggestions and It’s not any of these 2 things you suggested.

April 15, 2009 at 9:50 pm #301468All the modules that come in the templates package. You should have a directory called extensions and everything you need to install will be in there.
