December 18, 2012 at 3:08 am #183197I’m experiencing a BIG problem with MixMaz running JomSocial.
When new users go to sign up, there should be a form checkbox next to the link to the Terms & Conditions, which they must check to agree with.
On Firefox, this checkbox is there, and all is well.
On several other browsers, however, the checkbox does not appear at all, and so no matter how many times the user fills out the form, they get an invalid entry error.
This is most noticeable in Safari on Macs, but I’ve also noticed it on Safari on PCs and Chrome on PCs.
I’m pretty sure it’s a CSS issue with the MixMaz template — I’ve already had JomSocial look at the problem to rule anything out on that side.
When I commented out the lines in template.css that modify input, a very small (much smaller than the normal checkbox form field) appears on the form next to the “I agree with the Terms & Conditions” text — but it’s not clickable. It is not a working part of the form. So this also supports that it’s a CSS conflict somewhere, but I can’t find any other checkbox related or form related CSS issues anywhere else in the site’s CSS. Perhaps you’d have better luck or some idea where else to look?
Please take a look for yourself and test in various browsers. I’m confident you’ll be able to replicate the problem, and I really need a solution right away.
Turning off the Terms & Conditions is not a good option, and wouldn’t work anyway, since all checkboxes throughout the site will still be affected.

Please remove “-webkit-appearance: none;” from “template.css” file of Mixmaz as below screenshot to resolve the problem
