    Hi,

I have a test domain http://jesuitcertificate.in which has to be approved. Once approved I plan to shift the site to the live domain http://jesuitcertificate.org. Can I switch themes from one domain to another in your domain management or will it count for two themes?

    Thanks,

If it refers to template ONLY (no site settings/configs changed, hacks applied) just copy template files (folder /templates/your_templte_name) from the approved domain to a live one.

Also, check if T3F framework plugin is used in test domain. If so, this plugin should also be installed and enabled on the live one.

What I meant was the test site will go offline when the live site goes online. Both sites will be identical in all respects.

Sorry, do you mean “Your Domains” http://www.joomlart.com/member/yourdomain.php menu?
This is a question to JA, but I think if one site will be offline it’s not a problem. But not sure domains already registered could be changed…

Your last sentence said it all, If I register my test domain jesuitcertificate.in (test site) with JA can I then change the domain to jesuitcertificate.org (live site) for a particular theme. The first site goes offline when the live site comes online.

    Thanks

Hi, it is true that during your valid membership period, you can revise, change the details of legible domains you registered within member area at JA account. However, after the membership expires, you can not update it anymore.

You can see more info at article 2.1. Limited usage granted about Licensed domains registration under Terms of Use
