August 10, 2016 at 8:32 pm #958800Hi
I created a new template style assigning to it the featured layout ( containing the 4 sections ) and made a new menu item (joomlart) as special page blank content and assigned to this menu item the new module testimonial-featured in position section-4 as you can see it is working fine ( with correctly showed background image )
Best regards
August 10, 2016 at 9:00 pm #958808Hi Pavit
Thanks for responding so quickly.
So that allowed me to have the correctly formatted testimonials but it gets rid of the content I had on those pages because there is no content area on the template.For example this page had copy, contact form and a phoca map on it
http://www.getousset.net/malair/index.php/contactNow it only has the testimonial

August 10, 2016 at 9:06 pm #958814Now it only has the testimonial
I created that page as example to show you how to set the testimonial module only, i haven’t added to it anything else , if you want to have a page as you wish then you will need to set everything as should.
look at the documentation page or install on a new folder or local a quickstart version so you can copy and replicate correct settings as demo site has

August 10, 2016 at 9:13 pm #958815What I wanted was the testimonial formatted like the demo on the testimonial but for use on the default content left template
I dont want to use the features template because everything is incredibly horizontal. Also its easy to explain to clients that they can update all of the copy in the articles area

August 11, 2016 at 9:17 am #959005I created a new block "main-feat-2" which contains only section-4 position then i changed block name in default-content-left.php from
<?php $this->loadBlock('navbar') ?>
TO:
<?php $this->loadBlock('main-feat-2') ?>
As you can see now your about us page is showing correctly the testimonials module.
P.S.
THIS IS A CUSTOMIZATION OF THE TEMPLATE WORK , MADE FOR YOU AS ONE TIME GIFT DESPITE YOU CHANGED YOUR POST TEXT
WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE SUCH TYPE OF CUSTOMIZATIONS ON USERS WEBSITES, BECAUSE JOOMLART HAS A PAID SERVICE FOR THIS HERE
THIS FORUM IS USED TO HELP USERS IN WEBSITES CONFIGURATIONS GIVE SUGGESTIONS AND VERIFY TEMPLATES ARE NOT HAVING BUGS AND NOT CUSTOMIZE USERS WEBSITES.
JOOMLART’S GUYS ARE WORKING HARD EACH MONTH TO DEVELOP TEMPLATES DOCUMENTATIONS , SO NEXT TIME YOU ARE KINDLY INVITED TO READ T3 FRAMEWORK DOCUMENTATION AND TEMPLATE DOCUMENTATION.
THIS IS DIRECTED TO YOU AND ALL OTHER USERS READING THIS POST
NOTHING IS DUE AFTER YOU PURCHASED TEMPLATE AND WE TESTED IT IS WORKING FINE ON YOUR HOST .
Best regards.
